Last Updated on August 4, 2018 by cassnetwork

Accompanied by several Logansport cyclists for the first leg of his trip, Aaron Anderson headed out of Logansport on his bike around 8:15 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 3, 2018. Anderson is riding Route 66 to Santa Barbara, Calif., where he’ll be pursuing a  PhD in media arts and technology. About 50 people including his parents, Ralph and Connie, attended a send-off ceremony Friday morning at The Depot on 4th Street. Anderson is raising money for Logan’s Landing, which is Logansport’s downtown revitalization organization. Logan’s Landing is also a nationally-accredited Main Street program.

You can follow his journey, which is expected to take 4 to 8 weeks, at milesformainstreet.wordpress.com or on the Miles for Main Street Facebook page.

Donations can be made on the Logan’s Landing website here. Be sure to note that your contribution is for Miles for Main Street.
