City employees show support for Logansport Re-Imagined

Last Updated on September 28, 2018 by cassnetwork

City of Logansport employees wore Logansport Re-Imagined shirts Friday as part of Logansport Re-Imagined Week festivities.

Logansport Re-Imagined is the capstone project for the Hometown Collaboration Initiative, a program through the Office of Community and Rural Affairs in which Logansport was selected to participate. Logansport Re-Imagined Week is a week-long celebration that started Sept. 22, encouraging people to reconnect with the community.

“On behalf of all city government, I want to thank the HCI team,” says Clerk-Treasurer Stacy Cox. “This capstone project has grown into something really special. We are so fortunate to have such an amazing group of volunteers who spend countless hours working together and sharing ideas to better our community.  I’ve never been in a room surrounded by so many openly positive people with a visible passion for Logansport. For the first Logansport Re-Imagined Week, I wanted to display, in a big way, that we all support this incredible movement focused on our community’s potential for greatness.”

Logansport Re-Imagined Week continues through Saturday, Sept. 29. A full list of events and activities can be found at logansportreimagined.com.

The initiative encourages everyone in Logansport to continue to work together to create and promote a community where they are proud to live, work and play.
