The amount raised through the #WeAreCassCounty t-shirt fundraiser was announced Friday, Dec. 21 at the Logansport Savings Bank Cass County Basketball Invitational.

After Cass County First Responders were honored on the floor of the Berry Bowl, Tami McMahan announced that $13,738 had been raised as of that evening, to be split evenly between the families of KaDee Huddleston, Haley Begley, Auden Myers, Elizabeth Smith, Erica White and Gavin Morgan.

Creative Promotions donated funds from the sale of each t-shirt, and 5th grade students from Pioneer Elementary collected more than $790. A check was presented by Michelle Dials, who designed the logo, and Mike McMahan, of Creative Promotions, to the organizers of the fundraiser, Megan Kiser of Fairview Elementary and an assistant coach for the Logansport HS Girls Basketball team, and Chris Hess, principal of Fairview Elementary.

Individual checks were later presented to the six families. Logansport Mayor Dave Kitchell read a proclamation in support of #WeAreCassCounty.

#WeAreCassCounty shirts can be ordered online through Dec. 26, 2018 at bit.ly/wearecasscounty.
