Homburg named “Citizen of the Week”

A recent Logansport Municipal Utilities retiree has been recognized with a special city honor.

Terry Homburg, who also served on the Logansport City Council in the 1980s, is this week’s Citizen of the Week.

Mayor Dave Kitchell described him as a dedicated employee and a public servant who put the long-term interests of the city and its utilities first and foremost during his public sector career.

“We’re grateful to Terry and LMU employees like him who have worked long, arduous hours in some of the most difficult situations to not only keep our utilities running, but to upgrade the system over time,” Kitchell said.

Homburg will receive a certificate from the Mayor’s Office and a $20 gift certificate.

The Citizen of the Week program recognizes current or former Logansport residents for their contributions.
