Last Updated on January 30, 2019 by cassnetwork

Economic progress in Logansport is reflected in assessed valuation totals for the city through 2019.

According to information provided by the state, the city’s 2019 assessed value is $390,344,390. That figure is up 6 percent or $23,483,813 since 2015.

That percentage growth outpaces four of its six Indiana peer cities with similar populations. Logansport ranked fourth out of the seven in overall valuation increase.

Logansport is among five cities in the peer group that has a higher assessed value now than it had in 2010.

Information is based on comparisons of budget reports issued by the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance.
