The Logansport High School Speech Team concluded their 2019 season by placing 7th in the team sweepstakes of Class AA and 14th out of the entire combined non-class divisional IHSFA State Tournament. 87 schools were represented at State, held Saturday, March 9 at Fishers High School. Nine of the 12 LHS entries advanced to the quarter-finals and ranked in the top 24. Quarterfinalists include: Matt Klopp, Emilie Edwards, Caleb Sholty, Jessica Gross, and Drew Johannes. Josiah Richey and Claire Graham, advanced to semi finals, where they placed 9th in Humorous Interpretation and 10th in Radio, respectively.
