David E. Boatman

David E Boatman, 65, Oxford New Jersey, formerly of Logansport, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.

Born May 26, 1953, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Alfred L. and Laura B (Nickels) Boatman

David was one of Woodlawn Center’s first clients. Now known as Peak Community Services, David made many friends through Woodlawn Center which helped him lead a very meaningful life.

David was a long-time member of Wheatland Avenue United Methodist Church. David was a people person who enjoyed making friends and meeting new people. He had a passion for music. David enjoyed singing at his church, he also enjoyed dancing.

Surviving are one brother, John A Boatman and his wife Gudrun H of Port Charlotte, FL; two nephews, Dirk and Erik Boatman.

A Funeral Service celebrating the life of David Boatman will be held Wednesday, April 17th at 1 p.m.

Burial will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of the service in the funeral chapel.
