INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Ivy Tech Community College encourages all students, current or prospective, intending to take classes in the 2019-2020 academic year to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by April 15, 2019. In particular, students who wish to be considered for Indiana State grants including the Higher Education Award/Frank O’Bannon Grant and 21st Century Scholars must submit their FAFSA by April 15.

File the FAFSA online at FAFSA.gov. The application is free and students will need their Social Security Number (or alien registration number/permanent resident card, if not a U.S. citizen), driver’s license number (if applicable), 2017 income and tax information, and if under age 24, parent or guardian information.

Students may apply for federal aid any time of the year, however, Ivy Tech has established financial aid priority dates for each enrollment period. These priority dates ensure students will receive aid in time for the start of a semester.
