The Cass-Logansport Economic Development Organization (CLEDO) is working with a local manufacturer that is planning an expansion in Logansport.
Foppers Gourmet Pet Treat Bakery is a family owned and operated company founded in 2004 that manufactures all-natural, baked dog treats. The company currently occupies a 45,000 square foot facility on Logansport’s west side. Foppers sells its products direct online and through retail partners including Petsmart, Big Lots, Kroger, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Walgreens.
Foppers is proposing an investment of more than $1 million that includes real estate, improvements and equipment. They currently have 16 full-time employees and would be adding 10 new full-time employees at an average wage of $34,000 per year.
The proposed incentive is for $75,000 in 2019 and $75,000 in 2020 from CEDIT.
