Carol Pasquale retired last week after a 49-year career at Logansport State Hospital. She was recognized by the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration.

Today, she adds the honor of being named Logansport’s Citizen of the Week.

Mayor Dave Kitchell, who proclaimed last Thursday “Carol Pasquale Day in Logansport,” said she has shown exemplary loyalty to Logansport State Hospital and to the pharmacy profession.

“That’s emblematic of the people and work ethic we have in our community,” Kitchell said. “Few people stay at one job this long, but Carol is the exception, and she represents the kind of people there are in Logansport.”

Pasquale is a 1961 Logansport High School graduate. She went on to Purdue University where she was one of only 25 women in her School of Pharmacy graduating class.

After returning to Logansport, she served two terms on the Logansport School Board. She has been active in various capacities with Logansport Civic Players.

Carol will receive a certificate from the Mayor’s Office and a $20 gift certificate.
