UPDATE: As of 8:45 a.m., LMU reports that there are four poles down on Hwy 24 and that it will likely take longer than the original estimate of 5-6 hours to restore electricity in that area.
ORIGINAL POST: As of around 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2019, Logansport Municipal Utilities was aware of and working on the following issues:
• From France Park west to Lake Cicott area, they expect it to take about 5-6 hours to restore power, as there are 2 poles down in the Lake Cicott area.
• On the south side of Logansport near Day Street there is a pole down and a large tree down.
• There are multiple outages off SR 17 and SR 25 north of Logansport.
If you’re in one of those areas they are aware and working on the outages.
