Congratulations Numbers & Words, 1330 E. Broadway, on receiving the Logansport-Cass Co. Chamber of Commerce May Member of the Month Award for celebrating 30 years in business!
Donna Weida started Numbers & Words on Court Street in May 1989, offering accounting, faxing, typing, etc. for anyone in need of such services. She had one of the first fax machines, so several lawyers and companies on 4th Street used Numbers & Words to send and receive faxes. The company quickly grew into a full-service staffing company and offers a wide array of temporary and permanent placements in both the clerical and labor/industrial field. Most of their employees are temp-hire, which means they are hired by the clients once they fulfill their probationary period with Numbers & Words.
“Being actively involved in the Chamber has given us the opportunity to meet many wonderful business owners/leaders over the years,” says Deb Spencer, vice president of operations for Numbers & Words, and a member of the Chamber Board of Directors. “We have built many great relationships with clients that have been valued customers for many years. I think Bill is doing a fabulous job recruiting new businesses and retaining existing businesses in Cass County. His dedication to our community continues to make it a great place in which to live, work, and raise a family.”
