Logansport Municipal Utilities (LMU) is pleased to announce Harold Allen as LMU’s Vice President of Finance.
With this newly developed position, Mr. Allen’s responsibilities will include providing leadership, along with developing the financial strategy and overall financial accountability for LMU- a municipal owned, board-operated electric and water utility – serving the city of Logansport and surrounding county areas in northern Indiana.
Mr. Allen will oversee the process of business units within the utility company including accounting, bank and investor relations, customer service, budgeting, management of cash, debt portfolio, annual reporting and risk.This position will also guide the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transition and maintain functional ownership after launching.
Mr. Allen brings extensive business management experience in the areas of billing, finances and accounting. Prior to joining LMU, Mr. Allen served as the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Operations and Food Service for the Irvington Community Schools in Indianapolis. He is a graduate of the Kelly School of Business at IUPUI and holds an MBA from the University of Southern Indiana.
This position will report to LMU’s Superintendent Greg Toth.
