State Sen. Stacey Donato to serve on study committees

Last Updated on June 16, 2021 by Office of State Senator Stacey Donato

STATEHOUSE — State Sen. Stacey Donato (R-Logansport) will serve as a member of several study committees in preparation for the 2022 legislative session.

Donato’s assignments include the following:

  • Interim Study Committee on Child Services;
  • Governor’s Commission on Supplier Diversity;
  • Commission on Improving the Status of Children in Indiana; and
  • 21st Century Energy Policy Development Task Force.

“These committee meetings afford us the time needed to take an in-depth look into some of the most pressing issues facing our state,” Donato said. “I look forward to working with my colleagues in the Senate and House throughout the summer and fall to find solutions that will benefit all Hoosiers.”

Legislators will meet over the summer and fall months to discuss topics approved by the bipartisan Legislative Council, which is comprised of 16 voting members – eight from the Senate and eight from the House of Representatives.
