The River Bluff Trail and Hervey Preserve will be closed to the public for two weeks beginning Monday, September 13 through on Monday, September 27 for a bridge replacement and tree maintenance.
Local business, Zagajewski Construction will be working to replace the bridge near the Davis Street entrance of the River Bluff Trail. This bridge replacement is necessary for the safety of our trail user. For efficiency of the trail closure, the Foundation will also be performing tree maintenance.
Due to the nature of the work, we are asking that you do not use the trail or preserve, even in the evenings and/or weekends to ensure the safety of everyone. During this two-week closure, we encourage all of those who utilize the River Bluff Trail to try out the other wonderful trails throughout Cass County.
