The “You’ve Got Perseverance!” opportunity is for students who have demonstrated perseverance in their academic pursuits. Teachers, educators, and community leaders are encouraged to nominate students who’ve shown that nothing will deter them from their educational journey.

Nominator must be an educator, principal, school counselor or community leader

  • Opportunity opened December 9, 2021
  • Opportunity closes December 31, 2021
  • Awardees Announced February 10, 2022

Selected students will:

  • Get a special message sent directly from the Perseverance rover on Mars!
  • Chat with the rover team members from mission control at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory
  • Get a printed materials award pack loaded with mission essentials
