DONATO INTRODUCES CORPORAL HUMBERTO SANCHEZ’S FAMILY TO HOLCOMB: State Sen. Stacey Donato (R-Logansport) introduces Corporal Humberto Sanchez’s family to Gov. Holcomb on Jan. 31. The group memorialized Cpl. Sanchez by recounting his bravery and service for his country. Cpl. Sanchez received full military honors, including a Purple Heart and Congressional Gold Medal, after being killed while assisting fleeing American citizens and Afghan refugees at the Kabul airport in Afghanistan in 2021.
