Update from Logansport Street Department for February 2 and 3, 2022

Last Updated on February 1, 2022 by Logansport Street Department

Beginning in the morning on Feb. 2, 2022 and continuing through evening on Feb. 3, 2022, we are expecting large amounts of snow accumulation in Logansport and Cass County.

While it is snowing, we will be plowing the driving lanes only in order to make and keep the roads passable for individuals going to and from work and for emergency vehicles to pass as they are needed.

We have 9 dump trucks that will all be out but there are over 100 miles of streets in Logansport and clearing them will take time. Please be patient with our men as they work to clear the streets and keep things safe for everyone.

When you shovel your walks and shovel out your cars, please shovel the snow to the curb. When you shovel it into the street, when the plow passes by again, it will unfortunately put the snow back up against your car or blocking your sidewalk as this is unavoidable when plowing the street.

Thank you in advance for your patience in regards to snow removal.
