The LHS Speech Team placed 3rd at the Section 4 Indiana High School Speech & Debate Association Sectional, held at McCutcheon.

Sectional placements included:

Luna Tafolla: 2nd in POI & 3rd in Info

Celeste Gomez: 4th in Info & 5th in Radio

Halle VanCuren: 2nd in Info & 6th in Radio

Jasmine Zimmerman: 3rd in Poetry

Jaden Chin Hong: 3rd in International Extemp

Chandler Achey: 6th in Discussion

Moo Paw: 3rd in Discussion

Myah Yax: 6th in Drama

*Aiden Snoeberger: 8th (2nd alternate to State)

The team will be represented at State on March 12 by these 8 competitors in 11 public speaking events. State will bring together the top 42 competitors in each event.
