Logansport Memorial Hospital is looking for friendly, service-oriented people to serve as volunteers for our hospital. The Logansport Memorial Hospital Volunteers are a generous group of men and women who make a difference every day in the lives of patients, visitors, and staff at Logansport Memorial Hospital. As an LMH Volunteer, you can work as a Gift Shop Volunteer or a Direct Patient Care Volunteer.
Gift Shop Volunteer duties include assisting with the operation of the Logansport Memorial Gift Shop and also sponsor fundraisers throughout the year, including the Garden Party and the Holly Bazaar. Gift Shop Volunteers wait on customers and help to merchandise the shop, and assist the Gift Shop Manager. Volunteers also receive a 20% discount on purchases made in the Gift Shop.
Direct Patient Care Volunteer duties include helping patients and visitors find locations in the hospital, transporting patients in wheelchairs, delivering flowers, e-cards, and mail, providing administrative support for hospital staff, and holding fundraisers to assist with purchasing hospital equipment and providing hospital project support.
