2022 chip seal schedule updates from Cass County Highway Department

Chip seal work started Monday, June 6, 2022 in Cass County with roads in Jefferson and Boone Township being treated.
Roads scheduled for chip seal on Wednesday 6/29 include:
700W from 400S to 500S
275W from 200S to River Road
Wednesday’s work will conclude chip seal application for this year’s season. Roads to be paved will be announced as that work begins.
Roads tentatively scheduled for chip seal on Tuesday 6/28 include:
1300S from Carroll County Line to 50E
1150S from Carroll County Line to 50E
1250S from 150E to 200E
100E from 950S to 1050S
600E from SR 218 to 800S
600S from 900E to 950E
Any roads not finished on the assigned day will be moved to a subsequent day.
Drivers may encounter temporary road closures while the chip seal work, which is a rolling operation, is completed.
Roads tentatively scheduled for chip seal work on Monday 6/27 include:
1000S from 300E to 500E (partially done, to be completed)
300E from 1000S to 1100S (partially done, to be completed)
400E from 1000S to 1175S
300E from 1350S to SR 18
1250S from 150E to 200E
125E from SR 18 to 100E
1300S from 25E to 100E
1150S from County line to 50E
100E from 950S to 1050S

525E from 150N to 225N
550E/100N from 150N to 525E
525E/75N from 100N to 450E
100N from 700E to 900E
Roads tentatively scheduled for chip seal work on Thursday 6/16 include the following:

Due to an equipment breakdown, Tuesday’s chip seal list looks similar to Monday’s. Roads tentatively scheduled for chip seal work Tuesday 6/14 include:
50E from 350N to 500N (partially done, to be finished Tuesday)
500N from 100E to SR 25
100E from 600N to 1000N
650N from 175E to SR 25
Chip seal work tentatively scheduled for Monday, June 13, 2022 includes :
200N between Royal Center Pike and SR 17

Roads scheduled for work Wednesday, June 8 include the following:
525W from 900N to 1000N
400W from SR 16 to 800N
350W from Sr 16 to 800N
275W from 800N to 900N
Chip seal is a rolling operation so any road closures or delays should generally be brief in nature. Drivers are encouraged to take an alternate route if possible while work is underway.
