Nora Arlene Halstead, 77, New Waverly, passed away suddenly on September 15, 2022.

Born August 3, 1945, in Logansport, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Nora Jackson.

In 1979, in St. Louis, Missouri, she married the love of her life, Michael Halstead, who survives.

Arlene was a press operator for many years.

She enjoyed spending time working on crosswords and playing games. She had a love for animals and recently got a new puppy named Thor.

Surviving with her husband of 43 years, Michael Halstead; are two brothers, Larry and Tomm Rivers; two sisters, Deborah Piercy, and Kim Pickett; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Smith and Norman Cassell.
