Wayne Lewis Hamilton, 95, of Logansport passed away peacefully at 3:08 a.m., Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Chase Center.

Born on April 27, 1927 in Milroy, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late George and Dorothy (Warner) Hamilton.

He was a WWII United States Marine Corps veteran.

Wayne retired from National Starch and Chemical Corporation.  He enjoyed taking care of his dogs, fishing in younger years.  Wayne was also an avid Notre Dame and Green Bay Packer fan.

He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 14, 2022 with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport.

Burial with military rites will be performed at Crooked Creek Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Cass County Humane Society and/or Cause for Paws.
