Update from Cass County EMA as of 3:08 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22:
- Flash freeze with cold front is expected at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22.
- Rapid temperature drop (23 with windchill at 3 p.m., -18 by 9 p.m., -33 by 6 a.m. Friday)
- Overnight whiteout conditions due to blowing snow
- Wind gusts of 40 mph Thursday night, expected to increase to 47 mph on Friday, Dec. 23.
