Two local pageants coming to Logansport on Feb. 11, 2023

Miss Hoosier Heartland and Miss Tippecanoe, two  preliminary competitions that send titleholders to Miss Indiana, will take place at the McHale Performing Arts Center in Logansport, IN on Saturday, February 11, 2023.

The event is open to the public and begins at 4:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 at the door.

The reigning Miss Indiana and Top 7 Miss America Finalist, Elizabeth Hallal, will emcee the event. Logansport Mayor Chris Martin will offer opening remarks. A panel of five judges will evaluate the candidates in evening wear, interview, onstage question, and social impact initiatives. The panel features Hall of Fame Logansport High School Speech Coach, Jessica Kranz, and Miss Indiana USA 2021, A’Niyah Birdsong.

The competitions are directed and produced by Evan Elliott, with stage management by Chase Elliott. This year, over $500 in scholarships will be awarded to the candidates, including three new scholarships endowed by Molly Coy in honor of 2021 Miss Purdue University, Amanda Coy.
