Jeffrey Norman Dalton, 70 of Logansport, passed away Monday, May 1. 2023, at home with his loved ones by his side.

Born April 28, 1953, in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Dallas and Mildred (Janette) Dalton.

Jeff enlisted in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged with the rank of sergeant from the Clark AFB in the Philippines in 1976. He was an aircraft armament systems specialist. He was a member of the American Legion Post 60 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3790.

On January 4, 2000, he was married to Joyce Ann (Hardt) Dalton, who survives.

Jeff was employed as a truck driver. He was a gifted artist. Jeff was a proud member of the NRA.

Surviving with his wife, Joyce, is his son, Andrew Dalton, Anderson, IN; step-children, April Michelle (Nathan) Allen, and Matthew (Tina) Ervin, all of Logansport; brothers, Warren (Judy) Dalton, Al (Kathy) Dalton, Steve (Julie) Dalton, ister, Carolyn (Jim) Whitaker; grandchildren, Breanna, Quintin, Ben, Carrissa, Braiden, Claire, Noah, Patience and Shane; and one great-grandchild, Eli and Allen.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Heather. 

There will be no public service. Burial will be in the Marion National Cemetery.
