Susan Kay (Piercy) Carlson, 69, of Port Clinton, Ohio and formerly of Logansport, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at her home. 

Born November 16, 1953, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Wayne and Donna (Grandstaff) Piercy. 

On December 29, 1973, she was married to John L. Carlson who survives. 

Susan was a clerk for Ottawa County Regional Planning, retiring in 2013. 

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton, Ohio.

Surviving with her husband, John, are one daughter: Heather (Robert) Snyder of North Ridgeville, Ohio; one son: Derek (Irma) Carlson of Plainfield, Indiana; her grandchildren: Paige Snyder, Piper Snyder, Kaylei Carlson, Landen Warren, Ava Carlson, Ashden Warren, Rory Carlson, Sawyer Carlson; sisters: Janice Emmons and Sheila Piercy, both of Logansport, Indiana.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson: Riley Carlson; and sisters: Joyce Rose and Sherry Piercy.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 7:00 pm Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, Ohio. 

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 noon Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Fisher Funeral Chapel, 1801 Chase Rd. Logansport, Indiana with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of the service.

 Interment will follow in Davis Cemetery, near Burnettsville, Indiana.

 Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
