Dorothy M. Hults, 94, of Logansport, passed away Wednesday September 13, 2023, in Elkhart General Hospital, surrounded by family.

Born September 8, 1929, in Logansport to the late Edward W. and Katherine (Hopper) Schreyer. On June 5, 1947, in Plymouth, IN she married Edsel Wilson Hults, who preceded her on January 5, 2020.
Dorother retired from the R.B.M.

Survivors include two sons, David F. (Mary Lou) Hults, Travares, FL; Kerry F. (Vickie) Hults, Logansport; one daughter, Karen L. (Glen) Smith, Logansport; one sister, Mary F. Powell, Logansport; sister-in-law, Linda Schlick, Logansport; brother-in-law, Wayne Hults, Arkansas;  eight grandchildren, Tonya Myers, Karla (Chris) Costner, Jessica Smith, Brad Smith, Erin Nowak, Angela Townsend, Tom Henry and Todd Nowak; eighteen great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Schreyer and Karl “Bud” Schreyer, two sisters, Edna Louise Zimmerman and Betty White.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday September 19, 2023, in Life Gate Church with Pastor Matt Foster officiating. A burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery near Logansport.

A visitation will be held from 5 – 7 pm on Monday September 18, 2023, at Gundrum Funeral Home and 1-hour prior to services at Life Gate Church on Tuesday.
