Robert “Bob” E. Ferguson

Robert “Bob” E. Ferguson, 93, of Logansport, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023, at Creasy Springs in Lafayette.

Born on January 26, 1930, in Mishawaka, Indiana, Bob is the son of the late George E. and Bessie (Nethercutt) Ferguson.  On April 5, 1951, in Logansport, he married Marilyn J. Miller who preceded him in death on November 10, 2006.

Bob was a 1948 graduate of Royal Center High School and retired in 1989 as a truck driver for Union Local #543.  He served his country proudly in the United States Marines, during the Korean War.

Bob was a member of the Baptist Chrisitan Church of Royal Center, Logansport V.F.W Post 3790, American Legion Post 60 and Elk’s Lodge #66

Surviving Bob is a daughter, Jane (Bret) Yundt of Lafayette; grandchildren, Jesse (Danielle) Kuszmaul and Joshua (Katelyn) Kuszmaul; four great grandchildren, Quinn and Rhett Kuszmaul; Jolene and Jeb Kuszmaul, all of Lafayette.

Bob was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Ferguson and sister, Lucille Lebo.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 16, 2023, at Gundrum Funeral Home. Burial with full Military Honors will follow in the Kistler Cemetery, Royal Center.

Visitation will take place from 1:00 – 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 15, 2023, also in the Gundrum Funeral Home.
