Anyone that might be interested in a part time summer job , the Logansport Girls Softball league is looking to hire umpires for the upcoming summer and fall seasons. Summer league usually runs May and June , Fall Ball end of August to first of October.
League ages are 6-15. We will be holding a basic umpire clinic sometime in January for anyone interested in umpiring. It will be geared mainly towards first time umpires that are wanting to get started .
This would be a great opportunity for high schoolers ( current or former players ) or adults just wanting some summer fun money. The league is paying for the clinic, so there is NO CHARGE to attend. So if you have any interest , or know someone who does , please plan to attend as well as text 574-355-6039. In the Spring we will hold a more in depth clinic to prepare an umpire to be registered.
