NASA Skywatching Tips for April 2024

Here’s an update shared by our local Solar System Ambassador Pam Roller:

Early risers can easily spot the planets, Mars and Saturn, rising together early in the morning the first half of April. There will still be time to observe Comet 12P, and tips are provided to enjoy viewing the total solar eclipse even if you are not in the path of totality. Jupiter will appear next to the moon the evening of April 10th. Phases of the moon for April are included.
