Jack Kiser keynotes 2024 CCCF Lilly Scholarship Banquet

Pioneer High School graduate and 2019 Lilly Scholarship recipient, Jack Kiser was the keynote speaker for the 2024 Lilly Banquet honoring the seven finalists and 2024 recipient, Aryan Patel at the Logansport Golf Club. Kiser, a high school football standout, led the Pioneer Panthers to back-to-back state championships before leaving for Notre Dame where he has excelled in both the classroom and on the field.
In honor of Kiser, guests were greeted by local students, Jackson Gangloff, Carson Lowry, and Jake Lupke, all sporting Jack’s number ‘24’ Notre Dame jersey.
Following dinner, Deanna Crispen, President & CEO of the community foundation lauded Kiser and introduced him as just “Jack” a reference to his status as a champion and star across academics, athletics and a life well lived.
Kiser, an Indiana Mr. Football for 2018-19, is preparing to begin his sixth season for the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame as an explosive and talented linebacker. A two-time graduate of Notre Dame, Jack completed a bachelor’s degree in business analytics in 2022 and his master’s in accounting in 2023. He earned the Dean’s Award every semester, the Tom Frecka Academic Achievement Award, was inducted in the National Football Foundation Honor Society in 2024. Kiser is also highly active as a volunteer and works with “Cleats for a Cause” supporting four local charities.
Kiser shared with the students and parents gathered his tips for being successful in college and life. He noted the need for students to build their framework, network, give each project their best effort, and to never give up.
Following updates on the forty-two previous recipients and comments from this year’s finalists, 2024 recipient, Aryan Patel from Logansport High School was honored. Patel’s plans include attending Notre Dame University to study data and statistics.
