Road work in Cass County for the week of June 17, 2024
Last Updated on June 17, 2024 by Cass County Highway Department
Road work will be underway this week on certain heavily traveled roads in the county. Milling and paving of small patches will be underway today and tomorrow (Monday and Tuesday) on Old SR 25 at the intersection with the 4-lane SR 25 in the left turn lane, and on Monticello Road in the westbound lanes at the bridge over Burlington Avenue.
Later in the week, milling and paving will take place on County Roads 250S and 125W off of SR 29. This is the road that serves several industries, including Tyson and Tinnerman. Milling is expected to begin Thursday, with paving to follow Friday and Saturday, possibly concluding on Monday of the following week if needed.
In all cases, traffic will be maintained but drivers should expect lane restrictions, reduced speeds, and possible delays. Please watch for flaggers.
