Construction work at the corner of Perrysburg Road and Meadowview Dr. in Logansport began in late June.
Elevate GIS shows that the parcel is owned by Northern Indiana Public Service Company (NIPSCO).
We left a message with their media contact line to find out more about the project.
Here’s the info they provided:
“This project is part of NIPSCO’s long-term integrity management plan to modernize and enhance its natural gas system in northern Indiana. The company is building a new gas receiver site location that allows for inspection tools to be used inside the existing 16″ steel pipeline in the area. Once completed, this gas receiver site will connect to the company’s existing Royal Center Under Ground Storage Facilities. Construction on this project is expected to last through November 2024.”
