The Silver Alert issued Nov. 11, 2024 was cancelled at 4:49 p.m. on Nov. 12, 2024. The following press release was issued by Logansport Police Department at 5:16 p.m. on Nov. 12, 2024:

The Silver Alert issued for a missing male resident of Logansport has been successfully resolved.

The individual, Raymond Payne, who was last seen on Nov. 10, 2024 at 9:24 a.m., has been located safe and is in good condition.

Authorities issued the Silver Alert after concerns about the well-being of Raymond Payne, who was reported missing under circumstances that raised concerns for his safety. The alert was widely distributed across the region, and local law enforcement worked diligently to locate the individual.

“We are grateful for the swift and collective efforts of our community, law enforcement agencies and the public in helping to safely locate Raymond Payne,” said Christopher Rozzi, Detective of the Logansport Police Department. “This outcome is a reminder of the importance of public awareness and quick action in cases like this.”

The Logansport Police Department was assisted by Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Cass County Prosecutor’s Office, Lafayette Police Department, Indiana State Police and Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
