Cass County Community Foundation announces year-end assets at $50.6 million, officers for 2025

Year-end figures released at the January 2025 Cass County Community Foundation board meeting reported the Foundation’s total assets to be over $50.6 million. The Foundation has experienced tremendous growth over the last fifteen years when they ended December 2009 at $10.4 million. Over 94% of the foundation’s assets are permanent endowments which will benefit the community forever. Established in 1993, the foundation has provided grants to support Cass County non-profit organizations and scholarships to over 1,900 Cass County students since incorporating as a single county entity in 2001 totaling over $13.8 million.

The Cass County Community Foundation also announced officers for 2025. Elected officers for 2025 are: Board Chair, Luke Gangloff; Vice Chair, Kathlene Maughmer Mayhill; Treasurer, Tim Rich; Secretary, Lynn Korniak, and Past Chair, Molly Long Sterrett.

The officers will be joined by new board member, Jim Layman and continuing board members: Lucy Burns, Suzanne Chilcott, Greg Comoglio, Mike Englert, Paul Kroeger, Barrie McClain, Sue Ridlen, Mike Shannon, Lisa Swaim and Kory Wilson.
