Logansport Savings Bank announces Phase 2 of branch renovation
Last Updated on March 26, 2025 by Cass County Communication Network
Construction progress is beginning to get underway at the main branch of Logansport Savings Bank, where Phase 2 of our downtown campus renovation project is now starting. Following the successful completion of Phase 1, which focused on our Operations Center and the relocation of key administrative staff, we are now moving forward with improvements to the back half of our main branch.
During Phase 2, customers will notice several changes both inside and outside of the building. Starting inside, a temporary wall has been placed to protect from demolition to offices in the lobby. The existing Teller line is still accessible and is where customers can expect to conduct normal business. Our Consumer-Mortgage lenders are relocating to the second floor of the main branch. Our New Accounts team will be in different locations throughout the lobby to continue assisting customers with their account-related needs.
As for outside, we will be temporarily relocating our ATM to accommodate the expansion of our drive-thru lanes. While two of our current drive-thru lanes will remain open as consistently as possible, they may need to close intermittently to facilitate expansion and other infrastructure improvements. There will always be one drive-thru lane open at all times. The ATM will move to a freestanding permanent location on the far west end of the parking lot toward the end of Phase 2, which is anticipated to wrap up sometime in the third quarter of 2025.
For the duration of Phase 2 construction, parking in our customer parking lot will be significantly limited, and the entrance/exit onto E. Broadway will be closed. We encourage customers to use 8th Street to access either E. Market or E. Broadway when visiting the bank.
“It is exciting to see the transformation of our branch as we continue to enhance our facilities,” said Chad Higgins, President and CEO of Logansport Savings Bank. “But with change and progress also comes temporary inconveniences. We understand that these changes may cause some frustration, and we are committed to minimizing disruptions in service. Our team is dedicated to serving our customers through this transition, and we ask for your patience and understanding as we work to modernize and improve your banking experience.”
Signage will be placed where possible around the campus and the branch building to help with navigating around the ongoing construction. Additional communication about Phase 2 will be shared as updates are available. Please excuse our appearance while these renovations are in progress.
