
March 19, 2025 storms damage Logansport – Cass County Airport

Severe thunderstorms moved through Cass County, Indiana on the evening of Wednesday, March 19, 2025. A severe thunderstorm warning issued by the National Weather Service at 7:38 p.m. advised to remain alert for a possible tornado and move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
At 7:43 p.m., Cass County Emergency Management Agency advised via their Facebook page that the storm was entering Cass County and to move indoors and seek shelter.
The outdoor emergency warning sirens began sounding shortly after.
Another severe thunderstorm warning issued by the National Weather Service at 8:06 p.m. for northeastern Cass County said that at 8 p.m. EDT, power poles were reported down near the Logansport airport by emergency management officials.
