Logansport Memorial Hospital executes formal agreement to join Parkview Health

Transition to Parkview Logansport Hospital to be complete this summer
Following a public hearing of the Cass County Council, County Commissioners and the Logansport Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees on Monday, April 7, Logansport Memorial Hospital (LMH) will officially join Parkview Health later this year.
A transfer agreement was executed between all parties, with the goal of transitioning the hospital to Parkview Logansport Hospital by June 30, 2025.
“It was important to the board that we partner with someone who shares our mission and vision, and we’ve found that at Parkview,” said Dr. Jessica McClintock-Glover, Board Chair and OB/GYN Physician at LMH.
“We’ve really enjoyed getting to know their team and working together to move the needle on our shared commitment to high quality healthcare.”
As part of the agreement, Parkview committed to maintaining employment for all current hospital employees, subject to routine background checks and standard onboarding practices. The health system also committed to several capital projects through 2030, including facility upgrades and new technology.
“Affiliating with Parkview means that we can continue to expand services in Cass County and north central Indiana for years to come, and with less financial pressure because we have the support of an entire health system behind us,” said Tara McVay, president and CEO at LMH. “We are incredibly proud of the care we provide our community and we see a bright future ahead as Parkview Logansport.”
Parkview Health President of Physician and Clinical Enterprise Dr. Ray Dusman said, “Logansport is a fantastic community with an incredible team of caregivers at its hospital.
