No parking signs and traffic alerts going up in asphalt work zones in Logansport
Last Updated on May 9, 2025 by Cass County Communication Network
Logansport area drivers and residents will need to be aware of upcoming asphalt street repair work occurring in the coming weeks due to the ongoing water service line replacement projects.
Starting Monday, May 12, 2025, Logansport Utilities’ contractor Five Star Energy Services will be pouring asphalt and repairing the streets that have been impacted.
Community members need to note posted “no parking” signs going up, beginning on Washington and Bates Streets, and then continuing to areas on the streets and intersections listed below.
- Washington Street
- Bates Street
- Plum Street
- Heath Street
- Holland Street
- Madison Street
- Wilkinson Street
- West Miami Avenue
- West Linden Avenue
Towing of vehicles may be kindly enforced due to safety concerns and logistics. There will be large, heavy equipment crowding the streets and flaggers will be on hand. Traffic may become congested, reduced to one lane, or even closed at various times as crews complete the work daily. Drivers should seek alternative parking and routes in those areas.
The water main and service line replacement projects coincide with Logansport Utilities’ commitment to continue to provide safe and reliable water to all the community.
