Walton native graduates from Orr Fellowship, joins 650-person alumni network
Last Updated on June 4, 2025 by Cass County Communication Network
Orr Fellowship, an early career development program for versatile high-achievers and future-focused businesses in Indiana, is celebrating its graduating class of 53 Fellows and honoring five standout new graduates of the program. As the 2023 class of Orr Fellows completes their two-year Fellowships, they join a network of 650 program alumni who make a significant impact on Indiana’s economy.
Over the past two years, the 2023 class of Fellows has worked to exemplify what it means to be an Orr Fellow while also creating value at their partner companies. The graduating class has worked with some of Indiana’s most dynamic and high-growth companies and organizations, including Indiana University Health, Model 1 Commercial Vehicles and Steele Benefits. Notably, one in every five Orr Fellowship 2023 graduates came from outside the Hoosier state.
“Every graduating class of Fellows makes its mark on the Fellowship, our partner companies and the greater community,” said Steven Emch, President of Orr Fellowship. “As we found in our recent economic impact study, more than half of all Orr alumni remain in Indiana after completing the program, which means their experience and growth over the past two years will continue to pay dividends here at home.”
This year’s commencement ceremony included reflections from current Fellows, alumni and community leaders who have played a meaningful role in the Orr experience, as well as special recognition of five Fellows who exemplify the four core pillars of Orr Fellowship – Career, Community, Commitment and Continued Learning – as voted on by their peers in the class of 2023. The awards and their recipients are:

- 2025 Recipients: Claire Neuman, Zionsville, Ind., Taylor University; and McKenna Houston, Indianapolis, Florida Gulf Coast University
