Carolyn and Max enjoyed traveling and wintering in Florida during their retirement years. After Max’s untimely passing in 1996, Carolyn continued to embrace life. She loved painting and used her talents to create oil portraits of her beloved family members.
In her later years, she was blessed to have the daily companionship and love of her dear friend, Carl Stanforth. Together they brought joy and care to one another.
The surviving family includes her children, David (Joyce) Eshelman, Polly (Marvin) Grandstaff, Beth (Jeff) Jones, Amy (Erik) Auzins and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Eshelman.
