Millicent Ann “Millie” Wootten, 46, of Logansport, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born January 18, 1979, in Logansport, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Preston “Wade” Wootten and the late Margaret (Hettinger) Walls. Her stepmother, Marilyn Wootten, survives.

Millie had a natural gift for creativity-whether she was crafting, coloring, or simply imagining-she had a way of bringing beauty into the world. She loved getting lost in a good book and could always be found with music playing in the background-sometimes singing along, sometimes just letting the lyrics speak for her.

Also surviving with her stepmother are five children: Patrick, Braxton, Breanna, Mackenzie, and Haven; her sisters, Maggie Michael (Billy Smith) and Amanda Sill; her niece, Domynique Burrage, and son; her nephew, Joseph Burrage and son; her aunt, Mary (John) Centers; her uncle, Danny Wootten; and several cousins-including Natasha (Elgin) Ingle, who was more like a sister than a cousin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Lil’ Rey Burrage; and one stepsister, Kim.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2025, in Fisher Funeral Chapel.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

A gathering of family and friends will follow at the Union Hall, 356 West Broadway, Logansport.  Please join us for a time of food and fellowship as we share memories about Millie.
