Road closure continues on West Wabash Avenue in Logansport from July 23-August 6, 2025

Logansport Utilities’ contractor, Thieneman Construction, will shift the current road closure on West Wabash Avenue as work continues on the new headworks at the wastewater treatment plant.

The section between the facility’s Gate 1 and Gate 3, located at 1400 West Wabash Avenue, will be closed starting Tuesday, July 23, 2025, and will remain closed through Tuesday, August 6, 2025.

Please note that both local and through traffic will not have access during this period.

As part of the ongoing work, a septic hauler will be unloading in the 200 block of Front Street.

Residents should expect to see a tank semi unloading into a manhole approximately one to three times per day during the road closure.

Drivers should avoid the area and seek an alternative route.
