Starting Monday, October 27, 2025, Logansport Utilities’ contractor F& K Construction will be paving area streets that are in the final stages of the recent water main and service line replacement projects.

Community members need to note the posted “no parking” signs going up in the areas listed below. Towing of vehicles may be kindly enforced due to safety concerns and logistics. There will be large, heavy equipment crowding the streets.

Traffic may become congested, reduced to one lane, or even closed at various times as crews complete the work daily. Drivers should seek alternative parking and routes in these areas.

  • 600 and 700 block of Race Street
  • All East Clinton Street
  • 200 through 500 block of West Clinton from Cicott Street west to the dead end
  • 900 block of Sherman Street
  • 800 and 900 block of West Street from West Clinton to Biddle Street
  • The south portion of Garfield Street, 250 north of West Clinton Street
  • 1300 through 1700 block of Clifton Avenue
  • 1600 through 1800 of Silver Street
  • All Jackson Street
  • 1800 block of Meadlawn Avenue
  • All West Franklin Street
  • East Franklin Street from Clifton Avenue to Silver Street

Paving is expected to be completed by October 31, 2025. However, F&K Construction advises rain may delay the work into the following week. If this occurs, residents will be allowed to park on the street over the weekend of November 1-2. If “No Parking” signs remain posted, vehicles must be moved by 7:00 a.m. on Monday, November 3, 2025.

The water main and service line replacement projects coincide with Logansport Utilities’ commitment to continue to provide safe and reliable water to all the community.
