Rion Sullivan passed away on August 23, 2025, in Titusville, Florida, after bravely battling a long illness. Rion was well known for his passion for fishing and hunting, pursuits that brought him great joy throughout his life. He deeply valued the moments he spent with his family and friends, cherishing every opportunity for connection and togetherness. As the proud owner of a bait shop in Rochester, Indiana, Rion became an integral part of the community, where he developed many lasting relationships and
friendships with those around him.
Surviving Family and Friends
Rion is lovingly remembered by his sister, Maureen Sullivan, and his aunt, Julianne Volpert. In addition to these close family members, he leaves behind many cousins and good friends who will miss him dearly and hold his memory close to their hearts.
Preceded in Death
He was preceded in death by his mother Margaret “Peggy” Sullivan , father Stephen Sullivan, – grandparents, Mary and Lloyd Weis, and Amy and Bill Smallwood. He is also predeceased by his uncle, Charles Weis, and aunt, Joan Weis; his aunt, Betty Weis; uncle James Volpert as well as his aunt, Maryann Snyder, and uncle, Ralph Snyder.
Rion’s Beloved Pets
Rion had a deep love for animals, especially his three Pit-Bulls, whom he raised from puppies. He cared for these dogs for over 13 years, and they brought him immense joy and comfort throughout his life.
