Ruby J. Anders, 92, of Logansport, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Woodbridge Health Campus.

She was born on February 2, 1933, in Lafayette, Georgia, to Benjamin and Nettie (Castleberry) Hale. On November 3, 1954, she married William Anders in Logansport, Indiana. Together they shared 47 years of marriage before his passing on April 27, 2002.

Ruby retired from Federal Mogul in 1975 after 17 years of service. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose greatest joy was her family.

Surviving are her children, Gayle Worl and Kathy (Rex) Wilson; grandchildren, Shannon (Miroslav) Brazda, John Stark, Lisa Schrum, Alisha Stark, and Derek Wilson; great-grandchildren, Christian (Erica) Bedilion, Adam Balentine, Chelsea Bedilion, Carmen Bedilion, Elizabeth Brazda, David Brazda, Chris Brazda, Alexis Stark, Logan Stark, and Tauriel Wilson; and her great-great-grandchild, Niklaus Wert.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Anders; a son, Phillip Anders; and her siblings, Fred Hale, Herman Hale, Nettie Hale, Dorothy Hale, Harry Hale, Roger Hale, Flora Mae Hale, Nellie Ruth Hale, Theadore Hale, and Ben Hale Jr.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Thomas officiating. Friends and family may visit from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Victor Chapel Cemetery.
