Barbara “Barb” Sue Martin, 63, died peacefully at home on November 10, 2025, surrounded by family. She is survived by her beloved husband Randy, her three children Nate (Savannah), of Huntington, IN, Michelle, Logansport, and Will, of Columbus, OH. and one grandchild, Briella, Huntington, IN.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Richard T. and Carolyn A. (Klein) Brink.

Barb was born September 22, 1962, in Logansport. She was an avid horse lover and English horse show rider, competing in tournaments until her high school graduation in 1980. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from Purdue University in 1985. After graduating, Barb interned for a year in the Purdue Sports Information Office where she created brochures for various varsity teams and traveled with the women’s basketball and volleyball teams during the 1985 season.

After graduation and while on vacation at Hilton Head Island, S.C., she met her husband, Randy, the love of her life. The two were joined in Holy Matrimony on August 30, 1986.

Barb worked briefly at the Farmer’s and Merchant’s State Bank. She chose to be a full-time homemaker, nurturing the three children and also homeschooling them through their elementary grades.

Barb was an active parishioner of All Saints Catholic Church and served as an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion. For nearly twenty years, she also trained the altar servers and always kept a special place in her heart for them.

Prior to her cancer diagnosis in 2020, Barb was the second-grade religious education teacher and prepared her students to receive their first Holy Communion.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a contribution be made to All Saints Catholic Church, 112 East Market Street, Logansport 46947, or the Cass County Humane Society, 700 Water Street, Logansport 46947.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Kroeger-Crain Funeral Home. Deacon Steve Seitz will lead the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 p.m. also at the funeral home.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 14th, at All Saints Catholic Church, with Father Dominic Petan officiating.

Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
