Louise Holcomb

Louise Holcomb, 81, Logansport, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, in her residence.

Born October 6, 1944, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Marge (Profitt) Baker

On October 29, 1979, in Logansport, she was married to Frederick Vern Holcomb. He preceded her in death February 10, 2025.

Louise had a knack for finding treasures at yard sales and loved nothing more than camping under the stars with a campfire crackling nearby. One of her proudest adventures was traveling to Mozambique to visit her son—she went on an African safari and soaked up every moment of that once-in-a-lifetime trip.

Louise is survived by four sons, Wayne (Beth) Skaggs, Michael (Brigid) Holcomb, Ed (Beth) Holcomb and Dirk (Susan) Holcomb; son-in-law, George Brewer; one sister, Carolyn McDowell; grandchildren, Jessey (Anna) Holcomb, Danyel (Jordan) Bailey, Zack Holcomb, Aron (Ashley) Holcomb, AJ Brewer, CJ Brewer, Nicholaus (Hope) Holcomb, Lindsay (Josh) Benn, Jon Skaggs, Spencer Skaggs, and Sam Skaggs; and great-grandchildren, Mykah, Gyllean and Jozlyn Holcomb, Lane and Aly Holcomb, Matthew, Zoey, Khloe and Madison Holcomb, Mikeal and Mollie Benn, William and Laurence Bailey.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Brewer and her brother, Eugene Baker.

A private family visitation was held in Fisher Funeral Chapel.
