Very important message regarding Solar System Ambassador updates
Last Updated on November 6, 2025 by Cass County Communication Network
Here’s an update from our local Solar System Ambassador Pam Roller:

Due to a lapse in federal government funding NASA isn’t updating its website or app. I am very sad about this because I cannot keep you informed about NASA’s latest happenings for now. Since NASA isn’t allowed to work, Solar System Ambassador Volunteers aren’t allowed to share with their communities until the shutdown is over.
HOWEVER, these are some alternatives for you to try in the meantime:
You can go to www.nasa.gov and explore the NASA website. You just aren’t going to get updates right now.
If you go to the NASA website, keep scrolling down because there are several topics you may be interested in.
Also, if you scroll down to the very bottom, there are many topics you may click on too. I would especially click on Learning Resources because it would be interesting to explore.
You can use your NASA app on your iphone and explore on your own.
You just aren’t going to get updates right now.
You can google Picture of the Day and explore the archive to view all of the images.
There is a place for you to search your birthdate to see the image in the solar system on that day and year.
I would encourage you to send your name around the moon with the Artemis II Crew. Go to www.nasa.gov online, and just follow the directions on the screen.
